Tim Wilson

Tim WilsonBased in New York City, but travelling widely in the United States, Tim Wilson was Television New Zealand’s US correspondent for six years. He has also worked as a correspondent for US cable show The IFC Media Project, and as a celebrity commentator for RTL, Europe’s largest network.

His writing has been published in The New York Times, The International Herald Tribune, The Guardian, The Guardian Weekend Magazine, and Newsweek.com. His journalism awards include the Duncan Campbell Award for Investigative Journalism and the Commonwealth Media Award. His short fiction has been published in Open City, Sport, The Listener and Metro magazine. He ghostwrote the autobiography of New Zealand’s leading art forger, Karl Sim. A short film he wrote, Quid Pro Quo, premiered at the Hollywood Film Festival.
He is the author of a novel Their Faces Were Shining and a short story collection The Desolation Angel.
